Man Found Dead At Route 9 Strip Mall In Parlin: Prosecutor A 72-year-old homeless man was found dead at a strip mall near Route 9 in Parlin on Wednesday, Oct. 22, authorities said. At 2:02 p.m., Sayreville police responded to 499 Ernston Rd. and found Dhirubhai Patel dead on the side of the building, the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office said.  Sayreville police are handling the investigation, prosecutors said. The death is under investigation pending an autopsy, prosecutors said. There is no threat to the public, prosecutors said.

Person Airlifted After Route 78 Crash: Njsp A driver was airlifted following a crash on Route 78 in Hunterdon County on Tuesday, Oct. 21, authorities said. At 9:11 a.m. on Route 78 West in Clinton Township, a collision occurred between a Volvo tractor trailer, Mazda passenger vehicle and Ford van, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The driver of the Mazda sustained moderate injuries and was airlifted to an area hospital, Lebron said. The driver of the Ford sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.
