'Negligent Discharge': Man Shot At Toms River Gun Store, Police Say A man sustained a gunshot wound at a firearms store in Ocean County on Saturday, Oct. 25, police said. At 11:11 a.m., officers responded to Freedom Firearms Unlimited on Double Trouble Road after a person had a gunshot wound to the arm, Beachwood police said.  An investigation determined the shooting was a "negligent discharge," police said. The victim was listed in stable condition, police said. There is no threat or risk to the public, police said.
