On Saturday, July 19, the man impersonated a United States Postal Service letter carrier to steal mail from local apartment buildings on Sip Avenue, the United States Postal Inspectional service said. Man Killed In Jersey City Stabbing, Suspect Apprehended: Prosecutor A man was fatally stabbed in Jersey City on Friday, Oct. 24, authorities said. At 12:20 p.m., Jersey City police responded to a stabbing in the area of Jersey Avenue and located an injured man with an apparent stab wound, Acting Hudson County Prosecutor Wayne Mello said. The man, who has not been identified, was transported to Jersey City Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead just after 1 p.m, Mello said. During the initial investigation, a person of interest was identified and remains in custody, Mello said. The incident remains under investigation, Mello said.

At 11:04 a.m., the driver of a Honda SUV exited his vehicle on Route 80 West in Allamuchy Twp when it began to roll forward and struck him, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The victim sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital, Lebron said. The incident remains under investigation, Lebron said.

Man Killed In Turnpike Crash In Linden: Njsp A 72-year-old Matawan man was killed in a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike in Linden on Thursday evening, Oct. 23, authorities said. At 8:37 p.m., a Mercedes driven by Adam Paduszynski was traveling south on the Turnpike when the right side of his vehicle crashed into the front of a Freightliner, driven by a 22-year-old Passaic man, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.
