At 8:21 p.m., officers responded to the 600 block of Madison Avenue after the man was struck in the roadway, while not in the crosswalk, by a Mercedes driven by a 19-year-old Brooklyn man, Hackettstown police said. The 62-year-old suffered serious injuries and was transported to Hackettstown Medical Center and was then flown to Morristown Medical Center, police said.
