Man Stole Large Amount Of Metal From Adventure Pier: Wildwood PD A 67-year-old Wildwood Crest man was arrested and charged after he stole a large amount of metal near Adventure Pier, authorities announced Wednesday, Feb. 18. At 3:26 p.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 4, officers responded to Adventure Pier near the boardwalk after William Morelli removed a large amount of metal over several days, Wildwood police said. Morelli removed the metal before selling it to a scrap yard business, police said. He is charged with theft of moveable property, police said.

Rainbow Hill at Sourland Mountain Preserve has added 55 acres to its hiking trails, the New Jersey Conservation Foundation announced Wednesday, Feb. 18. There are now 1,205 acres of protected land spanning Hunterdon and Somerset counties.
