The dead geese are found at Woodstown Memorial Lake, Woodstown Borough police said. A resident was walking in a wooded area in the Whitesboro section of Middle Township when they discovered the skull, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland, and Middle Township Police Chief Tracey Super said. Michael Griffis is charged with negligent use of a firearm and causing damage of property after he shot a 70-year-old Burlington County man in the leg with birdshot pellets while hunting in Kingwood Township in Hunterdon County, NJDEP Fish & Wildlife Conservation Police said.
