Harvey School Girls Lacrosse Falls To Watkinson KATONAH, N.Y. – Harvey School’s girls lacrosse team lost to Watkinson of West Hartford on Saturday, 19-12. Audrey Rowe had four goals and three assists for Harvey, while Abby Hassett had three goals. Brittany Smith added a pair. Other standouts for the Cavaliers included Tiaja Downer, Sammy Aloi and Alex Penella. Watkinson led 8-5 late in the first half before erupting for five unanswered goals to take a 13-5 halftime lead. Harvey, which was missing four starters, outscored Watkinson 7-6 in the second half. Harvey next hosts Forman on Wednesday at 3.30.

5k Run Scheduled for Sunday In Yorktown Heights YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – The Mental Health Association of Westchester will conduct a 5-kilometer race on Sunday, May 5, at FDR State Park in Yorktown Heights, N.Y. There is also a one mile kids race and a 5k walk. Registration is available online. Registration and check-in begins at 8 a.m. The kids race starts at 9 a.m., and the 5k begins at 9:45. Medals will be awarded to the top men and women in several age divisions. Food, kids entertainment and music will also be part of the race. More details can be found online.

Sciglimpaglia hit .520 with nine RBIs for the week ending April 21. St. Joseph’s season ended Saturday when it was eliminated in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference playoffs. The women's team came in seventh and the combined team came in eighth.
