Mount Vernon Mayor Davis Accused Of Paying Yonkers Taxes Late MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – Mount Vernon Mayor Ernest Davis is delinquent paying his taxes in Yonkers, according to a report Saturday by News 12 Westchester. Davis owes more than $4,000 on a condominium he owns in Yonkers. He was also delinquent last year, but paid the bill in October, the report said. The News 12 report said Davis indicated he had not received the Yonkers tax bill at his Mount Vernon office. A federal probe is investigating Davis’ financial deals.

Dogs Bark In Park At Walkathon To Support SPCA YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – Dogs of all shapes, sizes, colors and breeds paraded through FDR State Park in Yorktown Heights Saturday in the SPCA Walkathon and Pet Fair. Dogs and their handlers strolled on a 2.5 mile trail in the park to raise money for the SPCA. Contributions from vendors and sponsors also helped the organization raise money for its programs, including the rescue and rehabilitation of animals.
