Operational activity and pothole repairs south of Exit 138/County Road 509 in Kenwilowrth to North of Exit 127 Route 9/Route 287/Route 440 in Woodbridge have led to a traffic slowdown, the New Jersey Department of Transportation said. One eyewitness told Daily Voice that traffic was backed up for 3.5 miles. Troopers blocked off a stretch of the roadway, bringing traffic to a standstill.

Man Killed In West Orange Fire: Prosecutor A 55-year-old West Orange man was killed in a fire on Wednesday, March 25, authorities said. At 1 p.m., the West Orange Fire Department responded to the fire at 108 Clarken Ave. and discovered Sean Tracy in bed in the master bedroom, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens II and West Orange Fire Chief Anthony Vecchio said. Tracy was transported to Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased at 2:04 p.m.., authorities said. The investigation into the fire is ongoing, authorities said.

Two Injured After SUV Overturns On Route 519 In White Twp: Njsp Two people were injured after a Toyota SUV overturned on Route 519 in Warren County on Wednesday, March 25, authorities said. At 4:43 p.m., a Toyota SUV was traveling south on Route 519 in White Township when the driver lost directional control of the vehicle, ran off the roadway to the right, struck a fence pole, struck a tree and overturned, Christopher Postorino, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.
