At 2:36 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, officers responded to a residence in Budd Lake to speak with John DeBello on an unrelated matter, Mount Olive police said. During an investigation, DeBello was found to be in possession of eight 30 round capacity magazines, police said. Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Vehicle On Route 35 In Eatontown: Prosecutor A 22-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle in Eatontown, authorities announced Wednesday, April 1. At 7:18 a.m. on Friday, March 27, Eatontown police responded to Route 35 and the Monmouth Mall Jughandle after a 2019 Honda Insight struck Edwin Chavez-Solis, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said. Chavez-Solis was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 7:40 a.m, Santiago said. The driver of the Honda Insight was uninjured and remained on scene, Santiago said.
