At 3 p.m., Morristown Police and EMS responded to Patriots Path across from Coal Avenue for an unresponsive person, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said. The man was later pronounced dead. He has not been identified but was described as homeless and known to frequent Morristown, authorities said. An investigation is being conducted by the Morristown Police, Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, Morris County Sheriff’s Office, and the Morris County Medical Examiner’s Office.
