An (almost) lifelong Westchester resident, Sam has reported on all facets of Westchester since he graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in print journalism, including stints at North County News and The Examiner. Man Shot In Cherry Hill: Police A 61-year-old man was shot in Cherry Hill on Wednesday, April 15, authorities said. At 3:53 p.m., Cherry Hill police responded to Liberty Bell Plaza and found a man shot in the parking lot, Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay and Cherry Hill Police Chief John Ostermueller said. The man was transported to a nearby hospital where he was reported to be in stable condition, authorities said. Person Critical After Struck By PATH Train In Newark A person was critically injured after they were struck by a PATH train in Newark Wednesday morning, April 15, authorities said. At 6 a.m., Port Authority Police and EMS responded after the person was struck by a train in Newark on the Newark–World Trade Center line, the Port Authority said in a statement. The individual was safely removed from the area and transported to the hospital in critical condition, authorities said.
