On Thursday, April 23, officers responded to Traveling Tykes Marina after a Mercury boat engine was removed from a vessel owned by the marina on Lake Carasaljo, Lakewood police said. An investigation identified William Cottrell as the suspect and he was arrested and charged with burglary and theft, police said.

NY Man Fought With Hospital Security: Denville PD A 29-year-old Westchester County man was arrested and charged after he fought with hospital security in Denville, authorities announced Thursday, May 21. On Friday, May 15, officers responded to Saint Claire's Hospital and found that Avian Bennet, an Ossining resident, had already been detained by hospital security personnel, Denville police said. Bennet was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct, police said. Bennet was subsequently transported to Denville Police Headquarters for processing and was released pending a court appearance, officers said.
