An elderly Long Island woman with dementia who went missing was located more than 300 miles away in Maryland, authorities said Tuesday, March 31.
Cops found Judith Hudson, 79, on Sunday, March 28 in Silver Spring, MD, a 330-mile drive from her home in Orient, Newsday reported. She'd been gone for 24 hours.
Hudson was reported missing by her twin sister, Jane, who was visiting from South Carolina and noticed she wasn’t home around 2:15 p.m. on Saturday, March 27, according to Patch. Hudson was supposed to stop by Stony Brook University Hospital but never arrived.
