A fast-moving threat forced one of Hollywood’s most recognizable families to leave the place they call home.
George Clooney, 65, his wife, Amal, 48, and their 9-year-old twins evacuated their estate in southeastern France on Wednesday, July 29, according to multiple reports.
The fire burned about 250 acres near the community of Brignoles, France. Approximately 700 residents were ordered to leave.
The Clooneys disclosed their evacuation in a letter to Brignoles Mayor Didier Brémond, as reported by the Spanish daily El País.
