A 21-year-old Maplewood man is wanted by New York City police after he damaged 11 NYPD vehicles by lighting them on fire, authorities said.
On Thursday, June 12, at 1 a.m., Jakhi Lodgson-McCray climbed over a gate and entered a parking parking lot at the 83rd Precinct in Bushwick, ABC7 reported. He placed fire starters on the windshields, hoods and tires of the vehicles, starting a fire, damaging 11 vehicles, ABC7 said.

A Maryland man was fatally struck while crossing a highway in Northern Virginia, and police are still working to identify the driver who fled the scene.
Timothy Scott Rinehart, 44, of Laurel, was killed early Thursday, June 5, while attempting to cross Lee Highway near Virginia Oaks Drive in Gainesville, according to the Prince William County Police Department on Monday, June 9.
Officers were called to the intersection around 1:57 a.m., where they found Rinehart dead at the scene. Police said the driver who hit him sped away.

Christian Fidel Gonzalez-Flores used a curious weapon after a reported road rage incident in Prince William County on Sunday afternoon, police say.
At around 2:15 p.m. on Oct. 13, officers were called to the 14300 block of Franklin Street in Woodbridge, where there was an attempted assault involving Gonzalez-Flores, 25, another motorist, and a machete.

Robbers Attempted To Break Into Vehicles, Steal Vespa: Hoboken PD
Three people attempted to break into a garage and later steal a Vespa in Hoboken on Thursday, July 11, authorities said.
At 9:40 p.m., three people were seen entering a garage on mini-motorcycles, attempting to open the doors of multiple vehicles, a spokeswoman for the Hoboken police said. They were unsuccessful and left, the spokeswoman said.
Later that evening, the three suspects attempted to steal a Vespa near the 15th Street and Adams Street but the owner of the vehicle stopped them, authorities said. The Vespa sustained $2,000 in damages, authorities said.
