(Update) Woman Hit, Killed By Train In Western Mass Update: Authorities have identified the woman killed as Jennifer Jarvis. Click here for more information on the victim.  Original: A woman was struck and killed by a train in Franklin County on Monday, June 10.  The crash happened about half a mile from the Bardwell's Ferry bridge in Shelburne Falls when a Berkshire & Eastern Railroad freight train slammed into the woman walking on or near the tracks around 5 a.m., the Northwestern District Attorney's Office said. Yeraldin Pardo, 28, of Lincolnia, was on the elevated tracks at Accotink Park Road in Springfield with her 8-year-old son and 28-year-old Diego Arriaza, of Annandale, around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, county police said. Woman Killed By Train In Western Mass A woman was struck and killed by a train Wednesday morning, June 5, in Berkshire County, authorities said.  Lynn Stanley, 41, of North Adams was hit in the area of American Legion Drive in North Adams, the Berkshire County District Attorney said.  Multiple people have posted memorials to the mother on Facebook.  Investigators have not disclosed the circumstances around the crash.  Police are investigating the incident and more information will be made available when that is complete, authorities said.
