A 28-year-old man who sold drugs to an Andover 20-year-old who died after taking them will spend the next five years in prison, authorities announced on Wednesday, Sept. 20.
Joseph Comeau, 28, pleaded guilty to intimidation of a witness and manslaughter in the death of Max Durham in 2019, the Essex County District Attorney's Office said. The prosecutor's office asked for a sentence of eight to 10 years in jail.

A 39-year-old Franklin County man who admitted to terrorizing his friends by chasing them through the woods while firing shots at them received a five-year prison sentence on Tuesday, Jan. 31, authorities said.
Olin Schwenger-Sartz, 39, of Heath, pleaded guilty to 10 charges, including two counts of armed assault with intent to murder, assault with a dangerous weapon, and carrying a loaded firearm while intoxicated, the Northwestern District Attorney said.
