A robber in Newark didn't let a language barrier slow him down.
At 7:50 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 20, a man entered a restaurant on the 100 block of South Street, purchased a cup of coffee and announced a robbery using the Google Translate app, threatening to shoot the cashier if she didn't comply, Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. said.
