Two people were killed in an early morning fire at a North Bergen senior housing complex on Thursday, April 3, authorities said.
At 1 a.m., the North Hudson Regional Fire and Rescue responded to Cullum Apartments, a multistory building at 6299 Grand Ave., Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Firefighters immediately encountered fire and heavy smoke within a 10th floor unit, Suarez said.
