Original: An 85-year-old Pittsfield crashed into a pedestrian and a truck Friday afternoon, Nov. 3, before slamming into a tree in Berkshire County, police said.
Judith Daly was driving a Hyundai Sonata north on Central Berkshire Blvd just after 3:30 p.m. when she hit Noor Khan Zadran, a 26-year-old man from Albany, New York, Pittsfield police said.

Box Truck Hits, Kills 41-Year-Old Man On Capital Region Roadway
A man was struck and killed while walking on a roadway in the region.
The Saratoga County incident happened at around 5 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, on Route 9 in the town of Halfmoon, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.
Michael Blackburn, age 41, was walking along Route 9 near Sitterly Road when he was struck by a box car.
Blackburn, of Clifton Park, was taken to Samaritan Hospital where he died from his injuries, deputies said.
The 41-year-old truck driver, of Saugerties in Ulster County, was not injured and remained at the scene.

Pedestrian, 67, Critically Hurt In Hackettstown Pickup Truck Crash
A 67-year-old man remains in critical condition after being struck by a pickup truck in Hackettstown, police said.
Hackettstown Police were called to the access road near Wendy’s on Mountain Avenue around 4:45 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21, the department said.
Investigators say a 59-year-old Oxford Township man was behind the wheel of a Chevy pickup making a left turn onto the access road from the Wendy’s parking lot when he struck the victim, who was crossing the road.
