Mount Laurel Man With Crack Pipe Stole Vehicle: Washington Twp Police
A Mount Laurel man was arrested and charged with stealing a car in Gloucester County on Sunday, April 17, authorities said.
At 8 a.m., officers observed a suspicious blue Honda CRV traveling southbound on Route 42 into Washington Township, Washington Township police said. The vehicle had been stolen out of Camden, police said.
The car pulled into a Kohl's where Clyde Alexander attempted to exit the car, but was quickly detained, police said.
Alexander, who had numerous active warrants out for his arrest, was charged with receiving a stolen vehicle and possessing a crack pipe, police said.

Joseph LeViness, a 29-year-old Brown Mills resident, died after battling single ventricle congenital heart disease and living with protein-losing enteropathy on Tuesday, Aug. 5, according to a fundraiser launched for his family.

A 36-year-old Mount Laurel woman is facing additional charges weeks after she was initially charged with abusing two children in her care, authorities said.

A South Jersey man already behind bars is now facing new charges—this time, for murder.
Ronny Paden, 31, of Delran, has been charged in the 2016 shooting death of Colby Rodgers, who was found dead inside a car in Willingboro nearly a decade ago, Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw said Monday, March 24.
The shooting happened around 3:15 a.m. on April 15, 2016.
Police say Rodgers, a 31-year-old Mount Laurel resident, was gunned down in the driver’s seat of a Kia Optima on Woodhaven Lane, in the Country Club Ridge neighborhood.
