Driver Hospitalized After Tractor Trailer Overturns On Route 287: Njsp A driver was hospitalized after their tractor trailer overturned on Route 287 in Morris County on the early morning of Thursday, Nov. 21, authorities said. At 4:02 a.m., a tractor trailer driving on Route 287 North in Boonton Township veered off the roadway to the right, struck a guardrail and overturned, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

Crash Temporarily Closes Road In Brewster, Causes Injury A vehicle was left on its side following a crash in the Hudson Valley that caused an hour-long road closure.  The crash happened in Putnam County on Friday afternoon, Oct. 4, when vehicles collided on Starr Ridge Road near Danbury Road (Route 202) in Brewster, according to the Brewster Fire Department.  One driver suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash.  According to the department, Starr Ridge Road was closed for around an hour as the crash site was cleared. The cause was not detailed.

The bus was heading south on State Highway 31 in Glen Gardner, when the driver lost control at milepost 37.5 around 3:10 p.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. The bus hit a mailbox and ended up in a ditch, leaving the 10 children and one adult with minor injuries, Lebron said. The crash investigation remains ongoing.
