35-Year-Old Killed In 2-Vehicle Crash On Long Island Identified A man has died following a two-vehicle Long Island crash. Nassau County Police were called at around 2:15 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, with reports of a crash involving a motorcycle in Valley Stream, near Rockaway Parkway and East St. Marks Place. A preliminary investigation revealed that 35-year-old Jhonathan Rosa, of Uniondale, was operating a Kawasaki motorcycle heading southbound on Rockaway Parkway when he collided with a Honda Civic, police said. Motorcyclist, 19, Rear-Ended, Killed In I-195 Crash: State Police A 19-year-old motorcyclist was killed when he was rear-ended by an SUV on Interstate 195, authorities said. Mohammad A. Abbas was riding west near milepost 5.7 in Robbinsville at 8:41 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14 when a Nissan Rogue driven by Shannon B. Monsell, 34, of Ringoes struck his motorcycle from behind, New Jersey State Police said. Abbas, of Perth Amboy, was thrown from the Kawasaki bike and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.  The crash remains under investigation.
