Motorist Killed After Flipping, Striking Sign In I-295 Crash An unidentified driver was killed in a single-car crash after veering off Interstate 295 in Mercer County,  authorities said. The crash occurred about 11:52 p.m. on I-295 North in the area of milepost 63.1 in Hamilton Township, according to New Jersey State Police Trooper Charles Marchan. The Mercedes-Benz ran off the highway to the right, overturned and struck a support for a sign, Marchan said. The driver, whose name was withheld pending notification of next of kin, was fatally injured, he said. The crash remains under investigation.
