Winslow police said they are attempting to locate 11 suspects who were involved in a fight following a football game on Friday, Oct. 4. Numerous fights broke out in the aftermath of the Winslow High School-Camden High School football game, with altercations occurring in the parking lots and on the front lawn of the school, police said. Teen Football Player Airlifted After Losing Feeling In Legs In Sparta, Police Say
A 13-year-old boy was airlifted to the hospital after he was injured playing football on the evening of Saturday, Sept. 21, in Sussex County authorities said. At 8:11 p.m., the boy was playing football at Station Park in Sparta Township when he temporarily lost feeling in his legs, Sparta Township Police Captain Thomas Snyder said. An Atlantic Air helicopter transported the boy to Morristown Medical Center, Snyder said. The young athlete regained feeling in both legs before the helicopter arrived, but was still hospitalized for for further evaluation, Snyder said.
