Motorcyclist, 55, Critical Following SUV Crash In Wallington: Prosecutor
New details have been released in a Bergen County crash that left a 55-year-old motorcyclist in critical condition.
The collision occurred just after 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, at the intersection of Hathaway Street and Locust Avenue in Wallington, according to Jeff Angermeyer, Deputy Chief of Detectives of the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.
Responding officers from Wallington, Rutherford, East Rutherford, and Wood-Ridge found the motorcyclist with serious injuries after a 2016 Ford Explorer and 2009 Kawasaki motorcycle collided in the intersection, investigators said.

Two people were hospitalized after an SUV blew a stop light and collided with a motorcycle in Manchester Township on Saturday, Oct. 4, police said.
A 2016 Indian Chief motorcycle was traveling west on Route 571 when a 2013 Honda CR-V, heading south on Ridgeway Boulevard, entered the intersection in front of it around 5:35 p.m., local police said. The motorcycle struck the driver’s side of the Honda, ejecting the rider, investigators said.

Angry Driver Blocks Ambulance Heading To Emergency In Wallkill, Police Say
A 47-year-old man is accused of chasing down and blocking an ambulance that was rushing to an emergency call with its lights activated in Orange County, police said.
The incident happened around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 10, on Route 78 near High Barney Road in Wallkill, New York State Police said on Friday, Sept. 12.
