A Connecticut man is facing multiple felony charges after police said he kidnapped and sexually assaulted a woman, then fired a handgun from his vehicle before she escaped and called for help.
Christopher Gianfrancesco, 50, of Watertown, was arrested after officers responded around 2:47 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, to the area of Swift Middle School following a report of an assault, police said.
An adult woman told Watertown police that she had been held against her will and sexually assaulted at Gianfrancesco’s residence on Davis Street, authorities said.
