A Baltimore man was killed in a car crash on Route 47 in Middle Township on Sunday, June 22, authorities said.
At 9 a.m., officers responded to Route 47 North for a two-car crash after a Hyundai Santa Fe was traveling northbound crossed into a southbound lane and struck a Buick Encore, Middle Township police said.
The driver of the Hyundai, Robert Burch, was pronounced dead at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City Division, police said.
The passenger, a 70-year-old woman was extricated from the vehicle and transported to a nearby hospital, police said.

At 3:34 a.m., troopers responded to County Road 550 West in Dennis Township after a Honda Civic veered off the roadway to the right and crashed into a tree, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.
The driver, Gabrielle Platt, sustained fatal injuries, Lebron said.

Patricia Wenzel, 79, of Manor Township, died on Sunday, June 16, 2025, after being transported from the scene of a motor vehicle collision at Long Lane and Marticville Road, the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office said.
