One person died in a seven-car pileup on Route 9 Tuesday, Dec. 5 in Freehold, authorities said. It happened at the intersection of Routes 9 and 33 around 10:30 a.m., a spokesperson for the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office said. The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, Monmouth County Serious Collision Analysis Response Team (SCART), and the Freehold Township Police Department are investigating. A 62-year-old Connecticut man was killed when his car veered off a roadway and hit a guardrail in Massachusetts. The Essex County crash happened in the city of Haverhill on Friday, Dec. 1. Lehigh Valley Man, 60, Killed In Two-Car Crash: Coroner
A Lower Macungie resident was killed in a two-car crash in the township on Sunday, Nov. 19, according to authorities. Eric J. Cressman, 60, died from multiple blunt force injuries by manner of accident, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio's Office said. Cressman was involved in a crash at the corner of Lower Macungie and Brookside roads around 7:15 a.m., officials said. He was pronounced dead at the scene within an hour. Driver, 78, Killed, Passenger Seriously Injured After Car Strikes Tree In Mercer County: Police
A 78-year-old man who suffered a medical emergency died after his car struck a tree in Mercer County, authorities said. Jared Fowler, of Pennington, was driving near Fackler Road and Deer Run at about 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7 when he veered off the road, Lawrence Township police said. Fowler was taken to Capital Health Systems Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said. His passenger, Janne Fowler, 78, was taken to the hospital with significant but non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Five people were taken to the hospital following a two-car crash in Upper Allen Township, according to officials. It happened Friday evening, Nov. 3 just after 6 p.m., township police said.
