Two 15-year-olds were arrested and charged following recent thefts in Northfield, authorities announced Monday, April 20.
At 2 a.m. on Sunday, April 19, officers observed two teens riding bicycles eastbound on Walnut Avenue without lights and on the wrong side of the roadway, Northfield police said. The individuals matched the description of suspects involved in a vehicle theft and prior incidents reported the previous night, police said.

Tips Sought In Deadly Virginia Bicycle Crash With Dodge Ram
Virginia State Police are seeking information in a fatal bicycle crash.
Matthew M. Settle, 66, of. Strasburg, was killed in the collision involving a 1999 Dodge Ram in Shenandoah County, authorities said.
It happened around 3:20 p.m. on the 2200 block on Junction Road Sunday, March 24, police said.
The driver of the Dodge, Noah, B. Clem, 19, of Strasburg, and an adult passenger were not injured in the crash. Both were wearing seatbelts.
