A 40-year-old Manahawkin man is charged with animal cruelty after a dog died, authorities announced Monday, Aug. 31. On Friday, July 24, officers responded to a residence in Manahawkin after Christopher Cook kicked a dog, and the dog died soon after, Stafford police said.
