Newly released bodycam footage shows the DUI arrest of Lumberton Township Mayor Gina LaPlaca, who was nearly four times over the legal limit when she was arrested on St. Patrick's Day for driving with her toddler son in the vehicle, according to police paperwork obtained by Daily Voice.
LaPlaca, 45, was charged with DWI, child endangerment, and multiple traffic violations following the St. Patrick’s Day incident on Sunday, March 17, Lumberton police said.

An alleged drunk driver from Connecticut is facing charges after injuring two people in a car crash in upstate New York, police said.
Hartford County resident Gonzalo Paredes-Moscoso, 45, of New Britain, was arrested on assault and related charges Tuesday, March 25, stemming from a crash in Saratoga County.
Paredes-Moscoso had a blood alcohol content (BAC) of .18 percent or greater when he crashed his vehicle on State Route 146 near Fire Road in the town of Clifton Park on Tuesday, Feb. 4, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.

A 26-year-old Sparta resident was arrested for driving while intoxicated at a liquor store on Tuesday, March 25, authorities said.
At 7:57 p.m., officers responded to Woodport road on a report of a white Honda SUV bouncing off the curbs while driving, Sparta police said. The vehicle, driven by Audes Choc-Salam, was seen pulling into the Liquor Factory parking lot, police said. The vehicle was parked crooked in front of the liquor store, police said.
