A Maryland man is accused of firing two rounds at a woman as she sat in her car in Lancaster, police announced.
David Terrell Porter Jr., 29, of Bowie, Maryland, allegedly approached the victim shortly after midnight on Sunday, June 29, as she sat in the driver’s seat of her vehicle in the first block of Caroline Street, according to the Lancaster City Bureau of Police.
Porter is accused of firing a gun twice into the car, with both rounds striking the driver’s side of the vehicle, investigators said. The woman was not injured.

Three men have been charged and are at large in connection with the shooting death of a 20-year-old in Millville, authorities said.
On Friday, Aug. 15, at approximately 6:53 p.m., Millville police responded to the area of High and Oak Streets for a report of a male with a gunshot wound to the head, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said. The victim, identified as Thomas Smith III was transported to a nearby hospital but was soon pronounced dead, Webb-McRae said.

A 26-year-old Bridgeton man was arrested and charged after he pulled out a firearm during a dispute at an LA Fitness parking lot in Washington Township, authorities announced Friday, Aug. 15.
On Friday, Aug. 1 at 8:06 p.m., an off-duty New Jersey State Trooper reported seeing a man, later identified as Jacob Vanaman, and a woman arguing near parked cars, Washington Township police said. A 19-year-old Pleasantville man was arrested and charged after he made threats while brandishing a firearm on Wednesday, Aug. 13, authorities said.
At 11 a.m., officers responded to a report of a man, later identified as Javont Bell-Lowe making threats at the Dollar General at 600 South New Road, Pleasantville police said.
