Rosa Trivigno, 86, Of Elmwood Park
ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- Rosa Trivigno (nee Ferrigno) of Elmwood Park died Wednesday, December 16. She was 86.
She was predeceased by her husband, Rodolfo.
Born in Italy, she came to the United States in 1961. She has been a resident of Elmwood Park for the past 47 years. She was a seamstress for the Super Craft Company in Garfield for 21 years.
Trivigno is survived by her daughters, Antoinette Vartalone and Ernestina “Tina” Black; her brother, Victor Ferrigno; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

HARRINGTON PARK, N.J. -- Margaret Lenihan Siegel died Thursday, Dec. 10.
She was predeceased by her father, Benjamin.
She is survived by her husband, Howard; her children, Justin and Jaclyn; her mother, Mary Lenihan; her brothers, Kevin and his wife, Mary, John and his wife, Cathy, Michael, Donal and his wife, Christina and Brendan and his wife, Tammy; and her sister-in-law Janice Lenihan.
Interment is at Sanctuary of Abraham & Sarah in Washington Township.

Man Charged With Failure To Pay Fine In Yorktown
YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Yorktown police have arrested a 26-year-old resident of Brookfield, Conn., on a bench warrant issued by the Yorktown Justice Court for failure to pay a fine in connection with a charge of unlicensed driving and speeding, both infractions.
On July 28, a bench warrant was issued for the defendant, Justin McCurdy, after he allegedly failed to pay the fine, police report.
Yorktown police were notified that McCurdy was released from the Putnum County Department of Corrections on an unrelated charge, officials report.

DARIEN, Conn. -- Author Peter Lourie recently paid a visit to students at Royle Elementary School to discuss his adventurous life.
Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Lourie grew up in Connecticut and Ontario, Canada. His interest in exploration, however, would take him around the world.
Lourie spent time with Margaret Leakey in Kenya, studying early human bones, and was on the path to becoming an anthropologist when he heard a story about a treasure trove of gold still undiscovered in the cloud forest of the Andes Mountains.
