Winter Session Beginning At Bridgeport's Housatonic Community College
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Students looking to pick up three or four college credits in just a few weeks can do so by attending Housatonic Community College’s winter session.
Classes start on Monday, Dec. 28, and run through Thursday, Jan. 14. Accelerated classes are open both to continuing HCC students and to new students.
Courses available include English, business, economics, history, math, healthcare, psychology, sociology and Spanish.
Most classes run Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. Laboratory time for science courses immediately follows the lecture class.

Patricia M. Izzo, 87, Of Hackensack
HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Patricia M. Izzo (nee Duffy) of Hackensack died Tuesday, Dec. 15. She was 87.
She was predeceased by her husband, Louis J. Izzo.
Patricia Izzo was a resident of Hackensack for nearly 65 years. Born in Queens, New York, she was a graduate of Bergen Community College, a literacy volunteer, library patron, Holy Trinity Church parishioner, New Jersey State Women’s Bowling Association High Series and Columbiettes member. She worked as a human resources employee at the Bergen County Utilities Authority.

Elizabeth M. McMorrow, 90, Of Hackensack
HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Elizabeth M. McMorrow, (nee Hegarty) of Hackensack died Wednesday, December 16. She was 90.
Born in Ennis, County Clare, Ireland, McMorrow came to the United States in 1956, settling in Hackensack. She was a member of the Bergen Irish Association of Dumont, and a parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Hackensack.
She was the wife of the late Michael J. McMorrow.
