Tyshon Walker, 30, of Wayne Street, was charged with criminal attempt at third-degree larceny and second-degree forgery, police said. He was arrested on a warrant and released on a promise to appear in court March 8. Police said a Fairfield couple reported a checkbook was stolen from their car last year.
