An officer stopped Jessimar Rodriguez, of Wisteria Drive, on Kings Highway East after he saw her nearly collide with another vehicle around 11:30 p.m.. police said. Rodriguez submitted to a breathalyzer test and blew a .164, more than twice the legal limit, police said. Two 17-Year-Old Girls Charged With Shoplifting In Fairfield FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Two 17-year-old Fairfield girls were arrested Saturday, after they attempted to steal about $668 worth of merchandise from Kohl’s on Tunxis Hill Road, police said. The girls hid items, mostly cosmetics, in backpacks in the 7:30 p.m. incident, police said. But a store loss prevention officer was watching them because they had previously attempted to shoplift in the store, police said. Each girl was charged with fifth-degree larceny and was scheduled to appear in juvenile court on Sept. 26, police said.
