A 37-year-old woman was arrested after police say she assaulted her ex mother-in-law and stole a gold bar worth more than $5,000 in Bergen County.
Officers responded to 291 Liberty St., Apt. 52 on Monday, March 16 for a reported assault and learned the victim had been attacked by her ex daughter-in-law, Jieon Ha, who fled the scene before police arrived, according to Little Ferry Police Chief James Walters.

An overnight storm brought powerful winds, downed trees, and widespread power outages across New Jersey Tuesday morning, March 17.
