Hunt Flowers On May Day At Teatown In Ossining
OSSINING, N.Y. -- An array of May events are offered at the Teatown Lake Reservation, 1600 Spring Valley Road, Ossining, N.Y.
On Sunday, May 1, the May Day Scavenger Hunt will allow participants to hunt for flowers from 1 to 2 p.m. to make a May Day basket, then join a scavenger hunt to fill it.
On Friday, May 6 a Plant Fest will offer over a dozen specialty vendors with perennials, herbs, vegetables and native plants from 4 to 7 p.m. "First Pick" is $10 and includes small plates, wine and local craft beer.
