At 2:08 a.m., officers responded to 2nd Street and Clifton Avenue for a disturbance and encountered Jonathan Lopez-Perez, who actively resisted arrest and assaulted law enforcement during the incident, Lakewood police said. He was ultimately taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault and resisting arrest, police said.
