A Long Island man was shot and killed while attending a funeral in Queens, according to multiple reports.
Cops said Richard Carter, a 49-year-old Valley Stream man, stepped outside after the service ended at the Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of New York on Friday, April 10, according to WCBS.
After that, witnesses heard multiple gunshots and saw Carter lying dead on the ground, WABC reported. The suspect fled on a CitiBike, authorities said.

Frederic Mejia, 35, was arrested after multiple people reported his tractor-trailer failing to maintain its lane on the Long Island Expressway through Brentwood, the Suffolk County Police Department said.
