A New York man was arrested after making antisemitic threats on social media, state police said Tuesday, March 17.
Joshua Wood, a 45-year-old Troy resident, was arrested Friday, March 12, according to authorities. He was charged with second-degree hate crime aggravated harassment.
Wood threatened a local religious leader, the Jewish community as a whole and President Trump, investigators said. A state police counterterrorism unit and FBI agents spotted Wood’s posts and alerted New York State Police in Brunswick, leading to his arrest.

Jonathan Rivera, a 37-year-old Flushing man, was pulled over on I-87 in Malta for a traffic stop around 11:15 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, which led to the discovery of the drugs, state police said.
