State Releases Body Cam Footage Of Bridgeport Police Shootout State investigators have released body camera footage from two Connecticut police officers involved in an exchange of gunfire with a suspect earlier this week. The encounter took place on Wednesday, Sept. 2, at 609 Grand St. in Bridgeport when police responded to a reported fight in the street, the Office of Inspector General said. 2 Killed In Early-Morning Killingly Mobile Home Fire Two people were killed when flames swept through a mobile home in Connecticut.  Firefighters were called to the Fall Brook Park area in Killingly around 1 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, to reports of a home on fire and two residents missing.  The first Killingly engine crew attacked the fire while other firefighters searched the home. Crews found both victims inside the home. They were pronounced dead at the scene.  The Killingly and state fire marshal offices are investigating what caused the blaze.
