John Oliver Gets Soap Opera Makeover For 'General Hospital,' 'Days Of Our Lives' Appearances
John Oliver is stepping into a very different kind of televised chaos.
The host of HBO’s "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver" will appear on ABC’s "General Hospital" and Peacock’s "Days of Our Lives," he announced on his most recent show.
Oliver teased his new soap-ready looks and thanked both shows for doing something "uniquely outlandish to his hair."
In an Instagram post, "Last Week Tonight" joked, "Finally: John is hot."
Oliver’s "General Hospital" arc will air Thursday, July 2, Friday, July 3, and Monday, July 6.

Village People said in a Facebook post on Wednesday morning, July 1, "We are profoundly sad to announce the death of VICTOR WILLIS, lead singer of Village People."

Total Nutrition Inc. of Deer Park, New York, voluntarily recalled two TNVitamins moringa products due to possible Salmonella contamination, according to a company announcement posted by the FDA on Friday, June 26.
No illnesses have been reported to date, according to the announcement.

PA Among States Hit Hardest By National Diarrhea Parasite Outbreak
A summer illness linked to contaminated food is spreading across multiple states.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is tracking 145 domestically acquired cases of cyclosporiasis, an intestinal illness caused by the Cyclospora parasite, according to the CDC’s surveillance page.
The cases were reported in 17 states among people who became sick from Friday, May 1, through Tuesday, June 16, the CDC said.

The community is grieving the loss of a little boy who drowned last weekend.
Elijah Stephen, 3, of Blackwood, drowned on Saturday, June 27, according to a GoFundMe set up to support his family.
