A 27-year-old woman was shot in York on Friday, say to police. York City Police were called to investigate a shooting incident in the 900 block West Locust Street around 11:01 p.m. The woman was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive. A York City couple was arrested on accusations they sexually assaulted a newborn while filming themselves and posting in the app Kik, according to police. Marisel Toro, 20, and Wyatt Andrew Jones, 25 both of the 400 block of South George Street in York, were arrested on information found during an investigation conducted by police in Boone, North Carolina. Two men are wanted by police in York City in connection with a March shooting. The shooting happened March 29 at 1 p.m. in the 600 block of East Market Street, say police. The suspects at the shooting were wearing hoodies, one red and the other black, as seen in the still images from a CCTV. The suspects fled the scene in a grayish four door sedan, also pictured in the CCTV images released by police. The US Marshall's, Pennsylvania State Police, York and Harrisburg Police teamed up to track down and arrest a 19-year-old man who is the suspected shooter in multiple incidents. Anthony "A-Rod" Colon was arrested in Dover Township on Monday by the joint task force for felony drug and weapon possession, according to York City police. Boy, 16, Dead In Weekend York Shooting
A 16-year-old boy was found dead by police at the scene of shooting in York on Saturday. The shooting happened at 2:53 p.m. in the 300 block of West Newton Avenue. Life-saving measures were taken but the victim -- Tyree Smart, of York City -- died at the scene from his injuries, according to police. An autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday at 8 a.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown.
