A 42-year-old man was struck and killed by a Metro-North train on its way to Yankee Stadium in Westchester County, authorities said.
The incident happened just before 11:30 a.m., when Metro-North Train 7620, which was traveling from the Putnam County town of Southeast to Yankee Stadium, was entering the White Plains station and struck the man, who was on the tracks without authorization, the MTA Police Department said on Monday, June 30.
