A 34-year-old Newark man was arrested and charged on Thursday, Sept. 11 with the fatal shooting of a man in Phillipsburg, authorities said. James Dawes was apprehended by members of the United States Marshal’s Service NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force in Newark, the Warren County Prosecutor's Office said.
