Suspect Wanted, Atlantic City Man Arrested For Having Cocaine, Stolen Gun From NC: Police
Police are looking for an Atlantic City man after they found drugs and a stolen gun, authorities said. Joel Snyder, 45, is wanted on 14 weapons and drug charges, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release. Wilbert Deberry Jr., 53, was arrested after a home and vehicle were raided on Wednesday, Aug. 7. Police executed a search warrant on the home and vehicle on the 1500 block of Beach Avenue after a two-month drug-dealing investigation. A 24-year-old Bayonne man was arrested and hit with numerous charges on the morning of Tuesday, July 30. after he threw a rock at a man and uttered a derogatory comment about Muslims to a woman, authorities said. At 7:35 a.m., at 10th Street and Broadway, Moustafa Nossier threw a rock at one of the victims and threatened him with a knife, Bayonne police said in a release. A 17-year-old Jersey City teenager was arrested and charged on Wednesday, July 24, with shooting a Bayonne teenager over the weekend, authorities said. At 2:30 p.m., police responded to 124 West Third Street and found John "Johnny" Dominguez, 17, unresponsive inside an apartment after being shot in the torso, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Jersey City Man Learns His Fate For Stabbing Woman Dead In Her Home 5 Years Ago
A 48-year-old man was sentenced on Tuesday, July 23, to 45 years in state prison for fatally stabbing a woman in Jersey City in 2018, authorities said. Ishmeal Coleman was sentenced after he was found guilty of murder and multiple weapons charges in February, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. In August 2018, Jersey City Police responded to a residence at 391 Forrest St. and found Takeela Wilson with a stab wound to her torso, Suarez said. A 39-year-old Irvington man was arrested and charged with dealing cocaine and trafficking firearms on Wednesday, July 17, authorities said. NJ Homeless Shelter Killer Gets 22 Years, Prosecutor Says
A 33-year-old Newark man was sentenced to 22 years in prison after being found guilty of stabbing his roommate to death at a shelter in 2022, authorities said. In February 2022, Michael Wylie snuck a knife into the H.E.L.P. Center Shelter and stabbed Kevin Williams, his roommate, in the face, neck and heart, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens, II said. Wylie was arrested while still in possession of the knife, Stephens said. Wylie was convicted in April of aggravated manslaughter and weapons charges, Stephens said.

A Mays Landing man was accused of firing a gun in a South Jersey area with several motels. Desmon Wilson, 23, was arrested on Friday, June 14, the Absecon Police Department said in a news release.
