Foot Found Near Delaware River ID'd As Missing Allentown Woman Thanks To NJ College Students
A foot found along the Delaware River in 2017 has finally been identified, thanks to student researchers at a New Jersey college. The remains belonged to Maria Quinones Garcia, who was 54 years old when she went missing from her home in Allentown, PA, in 2014, according to a release from the Ramapo College Investigative Genetic Genealogy (IGG) Center in Mahwah. Pennsylvania Man Airlifted After Route 80 Crash:

A 46-year-old Jim Thorpe, Pa. resident was airlifted after a crash on Route 80 in Warren County on the early morning of Friday, March 14, authorities said. At 12:12 a.m., officers responded to Route 80 West in Knowlton Township when a Buick ran off the roadway to the left, up an embankment and struck a guardrail, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The driver was transported by air to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, Marchan said. The crash remains under investigation, Marchan said.

A car fire sent plumes of smoke into the sky on the evening of Saturday, Feb. 8 on Route 517 in Warren County, authorities said. That evening, firefighters responded to a fully involved car fire at Route 517 and Lone Pine Terrace during the snowstorm, the Allamuchy Fire Department said. Multiple units responded and the fire was quickly brought under control, firefighters said. Firefighters said they remained on scene for about an hour before clearing.
